John’s Success at Tour of Ireland

6th form student John Buller has won the stage 2 of the Junior Tour of Ireland in Ennis County Clare.

Competing for Ulster, John fought off strong challenges from an experienced field of competitors.

Charlotte’s a Winner!

Year 8 student Charlotte Beresford is the winner of the Danske School Bank draw.  She won an all expenses trip to a sporting event of her choice.  Charlotte and her family will be travelling to London in August for 3 nights to watch wrestling.

Staying Safe Online

On Wednesday 28th June Year 11 Prince’s Trust Achieve Team along with St Patrick’s Yr 11 Achieve Team put on an information presentation on staying Safe online.

Over the past number of weeks, the 2 schools have worked together to highlight the dangers faced by children in their age group.

The PSNI also gave a brief talk and highlighted just how quickly and how far information spreads online.

The event was attended by the Deputy Lord Mayor of ABC Council Mr Nicholson, and Local Councillors,

Banbridge High School Team Elsa Raise £1050 for RVH Children’s Cancer Unit

A team of 8 members of staff at Banbridge High School ran the Bann 10K to raise money for Team Elsa.  The money raised was £1050.00.  Staff, students and parents all contributed to the fund and the cheque was presented to the RVH on Monday 19th June by pupils Naomi Magill and Sam Baird.  Also pictured are staff members who ran the 10K, Mrs J Potter and Mr D Adams.
